A highly porous, inert form of amorphous silica. Designed to reduce the humidity of the air surrounding sensitive objects. Silica gel can absorb up to 40% of its own weight of moisture. 5 gms of Silica Gel will treat approximately one cubic foot of display. It is self-indicating, changes from orange to green upon saturation but can be regenerated by heating. Conforms to BS 3523. Available in sachets or a 1kg tub. Sachets supplied in packs of 10.
