Combining 50 years of experience in the heritage sector with exceptional customer service, the Conservation Resources team is here to help you preserve the past for the future.
Jamie Briggs established his eponymous Removals and Storage business nearly two decades ago. With their specialism in library and heritage moves, Jamie felt that the synergy between their current business and that of Conservation Resources UK Ltd. was too good an opportunity to miss.
Taking the helm in 2019, Jamie is a proven salesman and will be managing the development of the business.
Julie has a background in teaching and a love of history which was her subsidiary subject at university. Julie is our "people person" and looks after human resources, team development and corporate social responsibility.
Alongside Jamie and Jack, Julie is a great supporter of sporting and charitable foundations. They spend much of their leisure time bringing these two passions together in the local community.
Jack Briggs joined the family firm in 2017 on completion of his A levels. He is looking forward to learning more about the heritage sector and how he can marry the work of Conservation Resources with their other opportunities.
He will be meeting with and speaking to as many CR customers as he can over the coming months. If they can talk about rugby too, even better!
Sandra has been an integral part of Conservation Resources for 20 years. During this time she has built up relationships with customers and suppliers across the world. Sandra now focuses her attention on supplier and customer account management.
Outside of working week, Sandra enjoys playing netball and badminton and taking the opportunity to travel. All are more enjoyable in the company of her grandchildren.
A committed Oxford United fan, John has enjoyed their recent rise through the football leagues and hopes it continues.
Lee has joined the team in November 2019 and is spending time learning our extensive product range. Lee is also learning the production process for our bespoke products; Lee will also be responsible for stock management and warehouse logistics.
Lee’s spare time is taken up with golf and being with his family. Lee brings a great attitude with him that helps others around him at work.
Jamie trained for 4 years as a cabinet maker and furniture conservator at Rycotewood College in Thame. On completion, he worked for Colin Piper Conservation for nearly 9 years before taking over the business.
In tandem with running his own business he also lectured at West Dean College for 3 days a week, a centre of excellence for Post Graduate Conservation courses. Eventually, he decided to focus his efforts on his own company, expanding his business and becoming one of the leading exponents of conservation practices.
He’s with us to help nurture relationships with fellow conservators, identify new products and offer technical expertise to those who need it.
Stevie has joined the team at Conservation Resources in the Summer of 2019. He joins with vast experience in administration and customer service. He is also using his skills in the sales team and looking to enhance the great customer service we offer.
In his spare time, he likes to keep physically active and is a Player/Coach at Banbury Rugby Club.
Karen joined the CR team in March 2019. Karen is combining the production of polyester pockets orders as well as sending out the supplies you require. Karen’s experience of organisation and administration is key to her role of customer relations and stock management.
Karen had moved over from South Africa and loves spending time with her family.
