New product for CR.
The artPAKK® system provides a highly sustainable, reusable alternative to single-use bubble wrap and plastic film for the transit and temporary storage of framed works, textiles, and artifacts. Engineered specifically to withstand the demands of museum moves, gallery transit, and heritage storage, these bags significantly reduce wrapping workflows while drastically minimising plastic waste.
Each artPAKK® is constructed from three distinct layers bonded together to form a consistent, shock-absorbent 6mm protective barrier. The structural edges are securely stitched with heavy-duty fabric bindings to eliminate edge-splitting and prevent sharp frame corners or hardware from piercing the envelope.
Key Advantages Over Standard Bubble Wrap:
Superior Corner & Edge Security: Unlike standard bubble wrap—which easily tears, pops, or wears thin at sharp corners—heavy-duty bound edges provide reliable, puncture-resistant structural strength.
Tear-Free Workflows (No Tape Needed): Features an integrated internal Velcro® closure system. This eliminates the need for commercial adhesive tapes, preventing accidental tape-to-art contact and ending the frustration of slicing through taped plastic during unpacking.
Uniform, Continuous Protection: Standard bubble wrap is prone to pops and thin spots under localised pressure. artPAKK®’s bonded multi-layer construction delivers uniform 6mm cushioning across the entire surface.
Speed & Efficiency: The drop-in bag format streamlines wrapping and unwrapping workflows, saving valuable prep time during high-volume gallery installs or collection relocations.
Built for Repeated Use: Reusable construction dramatically cuts down on disposal fees, storage clutter, and the constant repurchasing of single-use packing rolls.
