Our high quality bags have a tag sewn on, are sealed on all edges apart from the top which has a drawstring made of cotton installed for easy pulling and releasing of the top.

Perfect for the preservation of objects such as maps, banners, manuscripts or textiles. These bags are readily used for archive moves and storage of these objects.

General uses

In conservation Tyvek® is used extensively by museum and collection management professionals as a protective non-abrasive, spore resistant and dust proof barrier for textiles, furnishings, paintings and a wide variety of artefacts and object d'art. Tyvek® is used to support large items undergoing conservation treatments, to make protective enclosures and in the creation of labels to attach to artefacts in storage.
