Conservation Chemicals, Solvents & Adhesives

The chemical end of the catalogue: solvents, resins, adhesives, detergents and poultice materials for bench treatment. Acetone and HMG Paraloid B72 for consolidating and fixing, Araldite and Fish Glue for structural repairs, Biox and Frigilene Silver for metals, Dehypon for textile washing, Chloramine Trihydrate for stain reduction, Greygate for polishing resin fills, and Groomstick for dry cleaning.

Many of these are solvents or two-part systems, so check the manufacturer's guidance and confirm compatibility with the inks and media on the object before use. If you need documentation before raising a purchase order, please get in touch.
